Well-fortified for the dance

In twixt the balls, a brief reprieve from revelry's sway,
Doth offer the chance for merrymakers to find their way.
Here, amidst victuals and fare so fine,
To nourish body and soul, our spirits to align.
Two venerable inns, their doors open wide,
Bid guests to partake, where tradition doth bide.
"Zum Spießgesellen" (The Comrade's Skewer)
and "Bratwursthäusle bei St. Sebald" (St. Sebald's Grille).
Known for their culinary wonders, each with a thrill.
The choice doth lie in which to commence,
This evening's journey, an epic commence.
With bellies full and hearts ablaze,
We shall revel in a night of enticing plays.
The Nuremberg Town Hall, a setting so grand,
Where we shall lose ourselves in mirth's fine strand.
Please book thy feast with the chosen delight,
So seats may be reserved for this joyous night.
Henceforth, in a night of dance so complete,
With games of allure and pleasures, we'll meet.

At half past eight, the grand stage of the town hall shall come to life.

F O R T H E G R A N D C O U N C I L O R´S B A L L
Visitors to the event are expected
in 16th-century garb.
Only persons in historical clothing
from the Renaissance of the 16th century
or all clothing up to 1630 are admitted to the ball.
I ask you to comply with the requirements.
Please do not show up in cheap fancy dress costumes, thank you.
Due to the risk of injury,
we will refrain from carrying weapons at the ball!

will only take place if the minimum number of participants
for the
Ratsherrenball of 50 registrations
has been reached by December 31, 2024.
